I can't help but feel that the game's targeted resolution on XBSX is way too high for the kind of performance the game offers. The game targets 60 FPS, and while in quiet sections it's able to maintain that framerate, when the action picks up the frames come tumbling down in a way that I find personally unacceptable for how the game looks. I play on a 1440p monitor and would be more than happy to run the game at a much lower resolution, provided it was able to maintain those 60 FPS. Games that run at under 60 FPS nowadays don't feel nearly as good as those that do, and I personally much prefer how games like Warhammer 40K Darktide handle the graphics/performance tightrope where, even though the game runs at a VERY low resolution, (which honestly looks like 900p) it's able to at least maintain its framerate target leading to a game that feels much better to play. I certainly hope Amplitude reconsider their priorities when it comes to graphics, and offer us a much more stable framerate to play with.
