low performance, fps drops

Hello, I have bad performance in game,  fps from 60 drops to 20-25. Also game has huge processor using - 90+%. Bad fps is on any graphical preset. Help please. Is there anything i can do?

Specs:

Phenom 2 x4 965 (3.4)

Radeon 7850 Power edition ( 2gb, 256 bit) last driver,  instaled with clean install

8 gb ram

WIndows 7 64 SP 1

Game versin 1.5.13 S3(64bit)

Game is great, but i cant get fun with this performance( I tried 32bit version - that even worse. Help please

We're basically trying to troubleshoot the same issue.


On a side note:

You're saying that the CPU is used at 90%. Is all this load coming only from EL?

Can you try turning your antivirus off? On my work systems, I sometimes get massive CPU load from the antivirus which gets in the way of the applications.

yep, all cpu load is on EL, antivirus works in game mode (nod32)

allso i tried turn off steam overlay - no changes

i tried force dx11 - pink screen and force dx11 on 32 bit game gets pink screen to

temperatures of hardwere are in good state - 50-53 cpu, 48-50gpu

Did you already try tinkering with these settings?

- enabling / disabling VSync

- disabling the Post Processing Quality, or setting it to LOW

- disabling the Depth Of Field

- setting the overall Quality a bit lower

yes, putting all settings on low gets +5-7(!) fps, and fps drops still there
