game breaking bug on my first campaign, 3 hours into playing...

I havnt installed any mods or even any content. Im literally just playing the base game from EA pro sub.


On turn 111 the game just stops responding. I can load back to 110 and it works until i end turn. if i try to load directly into 111 it freezes within 3 seconds.


This is straight up the first campaign ive played after the tutorial and its already a game breaking bug where i literally cannot play the game...

Could be useful to upload the files listed/asked for in tech support area. At least it could offer information about what happened and how to fix it on your end.

Another idea is to install ELCP to be found in mod area. It fixes a lot of possible bugs.

That is the best advice to take. Use ELCP. The base game updates are far behind what the Endless Legend Community Patch has done and it has a lot of benefits besides just that. Well worth the install and it doesn't break achievements.

on my new campaign the same thing happened, this time on turn 93. It just stops responding...


how on earth can a game be out this long and still have actual game breaking bugs like this so often?


Ill try installing the community patch but IMO thats such a ridiculous requirement to play a game even if it does work. Companies shouldnt be relying on people who dont even work for them to fix their games


edit: the patch doesnt seem to have a "fix the game" option, it also seems to mess with the balance of the AI and a bunch of crap i dont want it to do...


really not acceptable, will make sure to stay away from this company's games in the future. Like id get it if i was usings mods or something, but im legit playing the base game and it just doesnt work.

I'm sorry...were you expecting the patch to fix the game in its already broken state? I meant to install the patch and start a new game. The patch doesn't "mess with the balance of the AI", it makes the AI legitimately good and also adds a lot of much needed improvements to the base game as a whole.


I'm sorry you had this experience.
