Unfortunately, adder's picture doesn't depict the size and quality of the tv set, only the seating arrangement. I bet the telly utilised is actually quite puny... smiley: stickouttongue

Who knows. Maybe the television is tiny (it would be a terrible home cinema), or maybe the television is huge and supports 3D. smiley: cool

Okay i just watched the movie and i was positive surprised.

-Good Start

-and very good end.

-Actor of Jaime Lannister was in it xD

the middle part was okay...only thing what was annoying me was that Tom Cruise wasent curious enough.

if the black man would not tell it by itself

we would still not know the whole story.

i rate it a 7.5/10

The black man is Morgan Freeman. smiley: wink

In my opinion, the only problem of the movie is that the story could be explained in a much more clear way. But it is still a good movie.

The question here is, was this done on purpose or were the producers/script writers just unable to get their act together? lol

Meh, I watched the new mission impossible movie, it literally showed the entire movie in the opening credits. Are you trying to say the trailer is similar in that it shows the entire movie?

Oh god that's horrible. I've seen the trailers online from before it released so I'm probably completely spoiled. What's the point of doing that though. You already saw the summary of the movie -_- Pointless hollywood is pointless

i dont like tom cruise but its sci-fi so its an onduty

and the movie name is one of the elder scrolls titles which has nothing to do with that movie at all but for me reason enough to watch it.

Actually, the word "oblivion" have some sense with the movie's story. It is simply because the protagonist (Tom Cruise) don't remember anything. And this isn't an spoiler because it is mentioned in the very beginning of the movie.

Good movie, enjoyed it. you ofcourse already suspect the "plot-twist" (which was not extremely well handled) but overall a very good movie with a interesting and innovating story.

recommend it, even if you're not really into sci-fi that much.

Indeed, the story is new and fresh. Also, what do you mean with "plot-twist"?

First of all, this thread is about the the movie "Oblivion", not about the game (The Elder Scrolls).

Well, I just watched Oblivion in the cinema yesterday, and I found it a very good movie. If you have watched it, what do you think about it? This thread is to discuss about the movie (or film, whaterever)

WARNING: This thread may contain spoilers about the movie. If you have not watched the movie yet and don't want spoilers, it is recomended for you to stay the hell away of this thread!

I was trying to speak spoiler-free, because I know how hard it sucks to know details/things before you go watch the movie.

There aren't really "spoilers" in this thread, so there's nothing to fear;

The movie IS good, definitely - and should be watched on the big screen
