Impossible Invasion

Hello, I am facing a frustrating problem in my game and I don't know if I don't understand a mechanic or if it's a bug.



So, I am around the 110 turn in normal speed with most of the technology discovered and I am at war. The last planet of my enemy has about 18 pop and I am trying to invade it. I have plenty of manpower and even when I completely siege down the system (enemy with 0 manpower) I can't never completely win the invasion. I launch an invasion with my max of 900 troops (I don't know how to increase this maximum or if there is a way) and the enemy having 0 manpower use conscription.But the problem, is that the enemy use conscription every damn time... And I got the impression that his pop continue growing making this an endless invasion phase/siege...



Is there a solution to my problem? What do I do wrong? Thanks in advance for answers.

Bomb them - system upgrades will get destroyed, pops will get killed, they will stop being able to sustain population.

There is the save, it's the last Riftborn planet at the top of the map. 


So just for refrence I play a custom nation and the orange empire was about to attack me, but I offered them peace. Also, I changed the maximum number of colonized systems before discontent so if you don't want the empire to explode in one turn, you might want to use a mod.

Also, I don't have siege ships at the time of the save, but I have all the ressource to create and produce them in one turn.


I know that I can bomb them until they all die, but I prefer to avoid bombing the system for 15 turns. Harmoneania New Path 19.sav

Hello. Well i charged the game without the mod. Every thing was at rebellion because of that i guess. I only had to attack the system and use preventive bombardment two time to capture it. Maybe the problem come from the mod ?

I tried without the mod and it was the problem. I had no idea how the mod can affect war, I just changed the limit of planet before overcolonisation... strange... 

Anyway thanks for the feedback, if you have any idea how a mod about overcolonization can affect a battle, please let me know !


Edit : I remade the mod and it works normally this time, I must have used an old file used before some new patches... Thanks again.
