error.zipHello, I recently bought Endless Space 2 from Microsoft Store and I've been trying to get it to open but it crashes on startup, most likely an gpu driver issue.

I think it's an intel or Nvidia Gpu driver issue, I have both an integrated intel gpu and a rtx 3050 ti laptop gpu on win 11. I have already set endless space 2 to run on the nvidia gpu. I tried to run it in administrator mode but I cannot run it in admin mode as Microsoft Store sandboxes applications so I couldn't run it in admin mode. Appreciate any help, thanks.

I don't know if this will work on your case but give it a try. (I am using Windows 11 and plays ES2 on Steam.)

Since you are using Windows 11 as your system OS, try access "Advanced System" at windows control panel. you can easly access at Advanced System by simply typing "Advanced System" at windows search bar.

1. Access "Environment variables(N)"

2. Look for "System Variables(S)".

3. If there is "OPENSSL_ia32cap", double click on it and edit its value to ~0x20000000. If "OPENSSL_ia32cap"does not exist, add it and edit its value to ~0x20000000.

4. Terminate your ES2 platform(in my case, it was Steam) and restart. Since I got no experience using Microsoft Store, I think you may have to restart your system.
