I presume the devs probably already have something like this in mind, but I think this game could benefit from some kind of Encyclopedia. Much like Civilization and really any game with a large amount of terms, technology, planet types etc., this game could do with an organized collection/definition source. There have been a number of times where I've been confused such as What a Worm Hole looks like, or when I think Dust was industry and vise verse. Any time any confusion comes up, a player could click the Encyclopedia button, search for something he needs information on and a nice organized page with a picture of the topic will explain what that object/ship/planet does or what stats it produces etc. This would help clear up any confusion and allow players to get straight back into the game.



Anyone else agree that this'd be a good addition to the game?

Would be nice to have, otoh you can also check under the Games Together subforum and you will find a treasure trove of informations about the game.



But I agree encyclopedia ingame would be a nice feature.

If you go into the menu in-game theres a greyed out button called 'Archives' if i remember correctly, ive no doubt that will be the in-game database

That's good to hear. The game would be much less user friendly without something like that.

yea, it would be great with a encyclopedia of things like ships/modules etc. hopefully detailed ones ^^

Aye, these kind of games really benefit from having an encyclopedia with every object in game.

I think we should add information bubbles in the game (in the tech tree and other such)
