Hero Biography: Said to be the greatest strategist of the 31`st millennium he was chosen to command the first military vessel for the UE, he served faithfully for 10 years. On his tenth year he had seen enough of the capabilities of the UE and went in search of the Pilgrims to redeem him .Along his journeys he came across a derelict Endless vessel, on board this ship was when the dust chose him as its host forever changing him.



Hero Image: Pale skinned, strong jawed, Ice blue eyes, has taken to wearing a blue military beret with a golden shield shaped badge with a dragon on it. He has a tattoo of simply three lines over his right eye like they were cut there by a tiger or some other animal. He has taken to wearing body armour for personal protection. Wears a electronic holographic eyepiece on the right eye. Has black hair.

Hero Name: Choi Jeong-Sik (최정식)



Hero Bio: A promising Empire scientist, Choi Jeong-Sik defected to the Sophon, and became obsessed with finding a legendary Amoeba ship that was said to have discovered Kyros. It was found adrift in space, deformed and turning to Dust. The Amoeba hid the ship, fearing it was too dangerous. Choi Jeong-Sik eventually found it and was infected with Dust. Recruited by the Pilgrims, he believes that the Dust will eventually lead him to Tor, lost homeworld of the Endless.

Original, far too long bio:



Choi Jeong-Sik was a promising young United Empire scientist with a singular ambition: to understand everything. As his research became more expensive and was of little practical interest to the Empire, his funding quickly dried up. Undeterred, he stowed away on a freighter and defected to the Sophons. From them he learned much of the Endless. He became obsessed with the legend of an Amoeba ship, said to have been found adrift in deep space, deformed and turning to dust. The last survivor, dying, said that they had found Kyros, and that the Dust would lead the others there. The Amoeba believed that the ship was too dangerous to leave around, and the ruins of Kyros too dangerous to explore, so they froze it in the ice of a backwater arctic world. Choi Jeong-Sik was determined to find the ship and with several other Sophon scientists left in search of it. He roamed the galaxy for years, one by one being abandoned by his companions, until he was alone. At long last he found it. As soon as he entered the ship, he was infected with Dust, and found that he was able to influence it. Tripping an alarm set by the Amoeba, a fleet arrived in orbit and began to bombard the surface. Before he could think, the dust responded to him and rose up to assimilate the fleet. He often experiences flashbacks that he believes are leading him to Kyros, which, in turn, he believes will lead him to Tor, lost homeworld of the Endless. He was then recruited by the Pilgrims, who hope he will allow them to complete their quest.

Hero name: Julius Krypter



Hero-Bio: Julius Krypter was the youngest man ever to graduate the United Empires prestigious academy for space leadership and fleet command. He spent the next 20 years as one of the Empires finest admirals leading fleets in almost all of the united Empires Space conflicts. His career with the United Empire was cut short when whilst pursuing a battered pilgrim fleet he was ambushed by a Craver war fleet. The Empire told him no reinforcements where coming and that he should fight to the last ship. Disgusted that the Empire would abandon one of their prized admirals so quickly he realized there must be a political reason. Julius in face of far superior numbers resigned himself to dying at the helm of his ship. However all was not lost the Pilgrim fleet at great personal risk engaged the Cravers from the rear and the day was saved. Julius seeing these people he had spent his life pursuing turn to help him thought maybe it wouldn't be such a bad idea to fight for their cause. Julius took the remnants of his fleet and promptly joined the pilgrims and he has never looked back.

Hero name: Novice Jone



Hero biography: Stucked in a steady trench warfare Novice Jone grew up on a planet marked by a raging war between the United Empire and the local population. The young Novice was spared to loose his joy of life and in his partly naive simplicity he constructed his very own fully functional spaceship within the many tunnelled bunker dwellings to leave this barren place which he once called home. Impressed by his abilities and in search of Endless artifacts a nearby Pilgrim group picked this daringly young adventurer up as he tried to steal parts directly from their landed spacecraft. However, they granted and allowed him to keep his own ship for future and they now benefit from his inventional mind.



Hero Image: A young inventor, similar to a young Da Vinci or Giacomo from Rise of Legends. His arms are covered by impressive tendril-like tatoos combined with small symbols and scenic pictures which remind him of his war-afflicted native home planet. He has medium-length lose hair and his upper part of the body up to his neck is covered with some tatoos. His face is not covered with tatoos. He wears a functional however elegant suit which permits him the steady access to his selfbuilt weapons and tools.

Hero Name: Garaile Ibarra



Hero Biography: Garaile Ibarra is the sort of man whose cunning is only matched by his collection of fine Sophon poetry. Despite the near destruction of House Ibarra and its oath of allegiance to the Pilgrim Exodus following the Succession War of 2988, he still holds great sway among both legal and less-reputable Imperial factions. Driven by vengeance, Dust and perhaps a little bit too much brandy, Garaile is a fearsome friend and foe alike.



Hero Image: Tall, blonde haired, tanned skin, cybernetic blue eyes. Garaile, being a disgraced Imperial noble, would still wear symbols of his former wealth and position; albeit with heavy Pilgrim influence to show his new allegiance. This could take the form of his uniform being white/light blue (those being the Pilgrim colours), having the Pilgrim symbol on his uniform, or standing on the bridge of a Pilgrim vessel. Hero Name: Michal Koznar



Hero Biography: Michal was a man that once was a part of the united empire but he is no longer one of them, he left the empire to go on a great adventure with one main goal, to find the lost homeworld of the Endless.

Michal was always daydreaming when he was young, he could see himself infront of him as a great adventurer which would go through galaxies to find what he was searching for but he never thought those daydreams would become real.

Hero Biography: Whilst working as a mikrobiologist on the research of the Influences of Dust on smallest organisms, Izadore had a mythical experience. While she was looking through the genom of a virus she had a vision of structures being pulled together by a strange kind of force...and now she wants to deepen this experience. So she left her laboratory in search for probes from different planets...hoping to repeat her vision.

Hero Name: Commander Nerwin



Hero Biography: Born to a farming community of Niron 4 he was used to hard work as a child with his father and brothers were called up to serve in the military. He always hoped to follow in their footsteps however his first taste of battle was not through the academy but rather when Pirates attacked the planet killing most everyone of the small farming community. From then on Nerwin vowed to punish all those that would threaten the Pilgrim way of life. Joining the military as soon as he was old enough he advanced quickly through the ranks showing a natural ability to command as well as almost sixth sense of where the enemy were to attack and how best to attack them. His famous quote was "No one wins a war going on the defensive".

Hero Name: Keal Ventor



Hero Biography : Keal was the top in his class at the United Empire’s Military Academy and was headed to great things in the UE Fleet, but the UE’s actions against the Resistance sickened him and drove his drive to be free of the empire’s iron hand. Keal decided to join the Pilgrims fledging fleet to help them push the tide against the UE. “Damn the Emperor!”



Hero Image: He is of average athletic build since he was not exercising as regularly as he use too. He is not young anymore even though he was just 34 years old and about 6’0” tall. Keal had a quickly fading hairline, but he still had some hair on his head in the style of a bald fade. He is still considered to be handsome by most women’s standards, with his light mocha colored skin. He is wearing a makeshift UE military jacket with the UE’s insignia torn off with the latest Pilgrim fleet uniform on.

Hero Biography: A skilled hacker and thief, Garret is wanted across Imperial space for a string of high-profile robberies. Slowly developing Dust enhancements from his Endless artifact collection, his filching skills improved further still. Fled to Pilgrim space when the authorities finally caught up with him, and found a place with them when he offered up many of his acquisitions.

Hero Biography: An orphan raised by the Sophons, Yelena excelled in her academic pursuits, outperforming even her Sophon classmates. After an intensive battery of testing, the Sophon government reckognized Yelena's abilities and granted her a seat in their finest school. She graduated first in her class. For all her genius Yelena has few companions, preferring the company of cold data and calculations.

Hero Name: Jozsef Bekker

Hero Biography: It isn't everyday that a man like Jozsef comes around. Long considered a loose cannon, and not the most sociable, Jozsef has proven time and time again that his cowboy bravado has rallied those around him to fight with exceptional ferocity and loyalty. His unconventional tactics takes many enemies by surprise, and those foolish enough to not outright flee the field, soon regret it.

Hero Name: Vanguard Drekk

Hero Biography: When the colony of Arimathea fell no civilians were harmed. This was due to the amazing skill of the Pilgrim combat unit named simply "Vanguard". They defended the colony till the civilians were safe, their own numbers dwindling in exchange. In the end there was a lone survivor, Drekk. He took up the Vanguard as his own title as he set out into the stars to defend the weak, as was his sworn duty.

Name: James "Odysseus" Benedict



Hero Bio: Best known by his professional alias, "Odysseus", James Benedict is a trader, smuggler and spy of relative fame who operates on the outskirts of the United Empire. Although it is not uncommon for him not to completely fulfill a mission, he always, always comes back somehow, against all odds, and with something to show for it... sometimes months after heading off for whatever he was hired for. This strange habit of homecoming has earned him his nickname and his fame, despite his somewhat frequent failures.



Appearance: Slightly tanned skin, à la Mediterranean Europe, light brown hair, amber eyes, white jacket, black undershirt and a golden chain around his neck. In his 30s.

Biography: “There is no greater Religion than Science. There is no greater god than a Scientist.” Dr. Zurgo was one of the most promising Bio- and Socialengineers of the United Empire before the restrictions and “human ethics” threw his work and with it himself into a depression. Searching for ways to transform a human being to a “transhuman being” he found new patrons in the faction later known as “The Pilgrims”. Claiming that with his work humanity would be able to transform in to the new “Endless-Race” he started new experiments with the help of Endless Artifacts and no restrictions at all. After a while, his madness was unbearable even to the Pilgrims. But nobody can ignore the fact that every colony thrives under his hands – even though there always is a certain amount of people just disappearing.

Hero Name: Edouard Kara.

Hero Biography: At one time, a dedicated Special Operations Group member in the United Empires Section 7, Edouard disappeared after an attack on Pyros IV in which a target turned out to be a civillian camp. Unable to cope with the knowledge he had intentionally killed unarmed civillians he turned his mind to greater questions, and in so doing became a Pilgrim. He serves now, to find the answers from the Endless; always with the hope that the knowledge may set him free once more. Unitl then he will continue to fight against those that would target the weak among us.

Hero Name: Andule Normeek



Hero Biography: Not much is known about Andule's past except that he is a man of grave silence with impeccable skill and wisdom. He has wandered the edges of the galaxy, and beyond - often drifting into the fray of vicious combat in which some say he unleashes a hidden power to turn the tide of battle, searching for something only he knows of. His constant journey is said to be directed towards something called The Key, at least that is what those who have studied his seemingly incoherent and strange ramblings say. But nevertheless Andule Normeek is a strong captain and a very wise man who is feared amongst his enemies.
