Titles says it, the game launches and I can watch the video about OpenDev. I can change the settings, but regardless which scenario I try to load, about halfway through the loading process I get a popup window with the Humankind logo and a red exclamation point and then the game quits. 

I'm having the same issue. No answers so far.

Same thing happens to me, if needed I can try to provide a screenshot or the logs (but I don't know where they're located). I tried verifying game files and re-installing the game, and it still doesn't work.

This only happens to me in the final scenario and in the 4th battle scenario. It also happens whenever I open a scenario and finish it and then immediately try to open another scenario without first exiting the game and verifying the game files.

Try "verify integrity of game files" at Steam. Even if you just downloaded. I was getting the same issue here.. ran the validation got 4 files broken. Downloaded again e game open the scenarios now.

Re-instaling didn't work for me. Game still crashes arounf 45% of loading any scenario.
