When I click the 'end turn' button it then gets stuck 'pending turn' forever. The save & load trick did work. However, for my case I have had to save and load to get to the next turn, every single turn. As you can imagine, I'm pretty frustrated.

I think there must be many different reasons causing these hangs for so many people because I could go to the next turn for a stuck game a couple weeks old.

If still not working for you, I found something that works for me.

Menu in game - Save - Save on cloud, check the box - uncheck the box - saves should reload - resume and load into next turn (hopefully)

Don't know why this seems to work for me, it must be something with the game trying to upload to cloud saves when ending the turns or something.
