Turn 795. Every time the game tries to save (auto save or manual save) it goes unresponsive. The cursor still moves but pressing X to select something has no effect. If you try to load or save again the game freezes completely and takes longer than usual (around 20 seconds) to close the game via the PS menu. 

I've just paid £30 for this game and I'd like to be able to finish it.
