Hello Everyone,

As you may know we started sharing a bit before Gamescom our design documents with our most Active members, The VIPs. They already started to discuss our designs with us. But now, for everyone interested we will share our documents with you, starting with Dungeon of the Endless. We'll start high level and then slowly go into more details.

Today we'll go over the basics of the game and the overall universe. Then before the end of the week we'll go into the 3C (Control, Character, Camera). Later on, we are aiming at going over one area of the game a week.

That process is a very important part of how we make our games, we really want to make them in front of you and with you. That method has been a tremendous success with Endless Space, as a game of such complexity, would have never been possible without all your inputs, dedication and organization.

Please come discuss the game with us, help us gather and analyse the feedback, and get ready to test the game as soon as it is out in Alpha. We are also working on some ways to help you organize your feedback, but there is more to come later on that topic.

So before letting you guys start reading our overviews, let me remind you what we want to achieve with DotE.
DotE is a Rogue-Like Dungeon Defense, of incredible difficulty, where you will have to direct a Hero and his crew to find the way out of a dungeon. To do so, you will be able to use the dungeon at your advantage, claiming its rooms, using its resources, and using your brain as much as your heroes' muscles to survive. As for any Rogue-Likes, you will learn how to master that difficulty alone or with friends!

I hope you will enjoy the game, its visuals and the atmosphere we are creating, as we are putting a lot of passion into it.
