Trappist-1 System: New NASA Discovery

Exciting News!


NASA discovered Seven earth-like planets orbiting the same star (red-dwarf).


The image below provided by NASA (artist's rendition) looks very much like Endless Space.


Let's get there before Lumeris buys it out! 40 light-years away!

They were actually studied for a while by a team of astronomers from Liege, Belgium (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/TRAPPIST-1#Discovery_and_nomenclature), hence the name of the system (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Trappist_beer).

NASA made the "big announcement" in February.

I'm not saying that NASA stole the show, but I personally find it appropriate to mention the team from Belgium too.
