That is so true Tred, f***ing steam and its updates. It updates so so much, and it doesn't even ask. Why can't it just ask, its under the impression that we're all watching it waiting for it to start updating and then go nope but we're not, we're doing other things steam, other things!

InFläääääääääääämes smiley: biggrin Glad you're still around - but I never had problems with Steam updates yet (and btw, that's the old layout). But I thought some people might find it true and/or funny - and I was right smiley: stickouttongue

You Steam asks you when to update itself, games and software? Mine does none of those things, it just does it and then I lag.

I just leave it in offline mode until I want to download something.

Hmm, maybe it doesn't like you ? D: Btw: I'd check the settings, I think that somewhere there the update behavior can be changed. I got barely 8Mbit and it's fine.

8Mbit is fast Tred, that is fast. This is mine...

Also that speed is slightly slower than it is usually. But you get the idea.

Changing provider is only possible if there is another provider to go to. When you live in the country, as the last phone on the line there is nothing you can do. Besides my Dad gets it for free because he works for BT.

Doesn't matter anyway because I'm off to Uni on Sunday and will have about 9-10 meg there. More than enough.

Here the results from where I work. Not bad considering last week we had to have our Fibre re spliced.

Your picture Tred reminds of the Bond films.

The only problem it does not allow Steam so only ES in Offline Mode. It is great for downloading stuff though.

Any I got another picture from my Office lets just say we do not get very many complaints.

DarkMeph
