Years ago I watched this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=43eIjvoYfos and after watching it and the video from Star Citizen you provided I can say without a doubt, that Star Citizen seems to be far from stunning.



Edit: Oh by the way. This is the official site of this project: https://www.inovaestudios.com/ People from that studio created this engine. They wanted to create an MMO space game, but they eventually decided that they will create only engine instead, though there is a game they've created to test various things. The game is called "Infinity: Battlescape" and it seems that they will be releasing it as a full game (more info on their site).
