Dungeon of the ENDLESS™ is a Rogue-Like Dungeon-Defense hybrid game, in which your team of heroes must protect the generator of their crashed ship while finding their way out!
Even if there isn't, the Vaulters will be made available to everyone (for free) once Dungeon of the Endless releases for real. So while it will be awesome if you can upgrade now, you will be able to play the Vaulters eventually.
You may have to talk to steam support though, as they are the vendor who sold the game.
You can get Steam to sort it out for you, but you need to submit a support ticket. See this thread, and my posts, because I made the same "mistake" as you.
