Dungeon of the ENDLESS™ is a Rogue-Like Dungeon-Defense hybrid game, in which your team of heroes must protect the generator of their crashed ship while finding their way out!
So far there is no info like that. At least Sar Numas' story though allows for her prisoner to also show up as a "hero". But from the heroes will be born the factions in Endless Legend, so possibly during the game, when the personal storyline bits are added, then we'll find out little tidbits.
Going along the same lines, hero interaction could affect their combat abilities. E.g.Sara could have increased effectiveness when in the same room as her prisoner but increased speed in other rooms to get back to him/her/it.
