@Predateur701: It’s an error! We didn’t update the road map yet, but the "tech tree" (bad name) is the current science system. We will obviously iterate to improve it but we don’t plan on adding another system

For example I was offered to research Food module t3 when I was still at t1. Industrial t4 when I was at t2.
I liked it. Sometimes, I'd get an expensive option to "jump" a level, and I'd take it, even if the item wasn't ideal for my current situation, because I knew it would be a worthwhile long-term investment.
