I would like to suggest the following hero ability:



Spark of Insight

The hero doubles their wit for 9 seconds. Cooldown: 4 turns



This can serve multiple purposes, in combat it is possible for a hero to be away from combat, operating a Tactical HUD or defensive LAN, and can use Spark of Insight to increase the output of the HUD/LAN during a big confrontation in a different room. Alternatively, it is possible to boost a particular resource (Industry, Science, Food) by operating the appropriate module with Spark of Insight just as a different hero opens a door elsewhere. This can be enough to move your +20 food to +25 food in that one critical instance where you need just that little bit more to have enough to level one of your heroes, etc.



One of my key considerations here is having an ability that is not strictly combat focused.
