Will there ever be an option to create custom heroes or is no such thing planned?

That would be a fun option...maybe when you beat a difficulty level it unlocks a custom hero slot (with the higher the difficulty the better the custom hero can be)

Hmm I'm not sure I like the idea of custom heroes as I think it'd be almost impossible to balance well. It would be nice if you could unlock some differing options for your heroes which would allow you to tweak thier focus a bit or specialise into it, it work to both make the heroes more "yours" and encourage replays. Not sure if that would be possible under the current system though.

I think it would be pretty cool. I'd like to be able to specialize my heroes to my play style. II like the idea of beating the difficulty and unlocking better and better abilities.

Maybe each hero should have a skilltree in which you can buy upgrades when you finish a save with them. This could also add replay value, because the only thing that is carried over from one game (save) to another is the heroes you unlocked.
