I've been enjoying playing with the armory because you can strategically pick 4 heroes that work really well together. I'm just wondering what you's guy's favorite 4 person team is for the armory and why.

My pick:

Max for a runner. I made a post earlier claiming him to be a bit under powered but I tried him again and now I can't run with a anyone else. I level him to 15 first to get the most of his dust and science bonuses for the game.

Elise for my front line operator. She does a ton of damage, can operate, can tank like a boss (especially with her turtle ability) and basically gets shit done in almost Gork like fashion. If stuff gets to crazy her shrapnel ability wrecks pretty much everything.

Rakia for my second line operator. She does good damage and is really quite good at operating. Her offensive module ability is kind of wasted in armory but her other one is quite strong. That combined with her more then acceptable damage output lets her easily finish off anything that somehow manages to get through Max and Elise. In the later floors when everyone is maxed out and resources aren't a big deal I put her in with Elise so she doesn't get overrun (this is why I pick Rakia over, say, Mormish).

Josh is my rear end operator. He has the best wit in the game and he boosts everyone else's wit (which, when you run with 3 operators, helps quite a bit). He also has the offensive module ability (womp womp) but his other one gives attack power to heroes on the floor which is useful.

I basically use the 3 operators to pump out a bunch of food super fast (as it's the only thing you can get at the start). Max's +2 science intake helps a bunch with science so I can keep my research up to snuff. By around floor 7 I find I can have everyone at level 15 at which point I can start building the attack power increase modules (forget their names) and can pretty much scoot to the exit whenever I find it.

Completed it with Max "OP" Kane, Elise Ness, Chef, & Opbot Dv8. Max was my runner, and I rushed him to lv 10 for pilfer +2 asap. Got the rest up to lv 10. Then got max up to 15 for filfer 3. Chef is the best tank IMO, good skills, and cheap to heal. Elise is great for a backup operator and high damage, on of the best for sure. Opbot is the quickest to get Operate, had him operating on lv 1 and maxed out his wit for the rest of the game and left him behind the lines for that extra smiley: fids that I needed for that floor. Didn't need more than that operate wise, I found it pretty easy to win with this group, just went a heavy food focus early on, then stacked the industry later.

What's your favorite team? You didn't say smiley: smile

I put it in the first reply to this thread. I didn't want to put it in the OP because that could look like I just wanted to create a thread to talk about myself. smiley: stickouttongue

Elise: Front-line operation, defense, emergency explorer. She's got operation ability, great combat stats, two device slots and the best crowd control ability in the entire game. As long as there is enough science, she can stop literally any kind of attack on her own.

Rakya: Reserve front-line operation, defense. Great wit, good bonuses to attack modules, acceptable stats and a good crowd control ability, for these rare cases when I need to split the fronts. Health hazard is just that awesome.

Josh: Operator, support. From what I've seen, the biggest wit out of all the characters in the game. Combined with the ability to provide a passive bonus to wit to other heroes on the floor and an ability that buffs their attack from the distance - a good pick for the group of 3 operators, just need to keep him away from all the actions, she shoots like a... girl..? Not the best comparison, now that there are Elise and Rakya anyway.

Max: Explorer. Good all-rounder stats, pilfer skill, run away skill and verbal abuse skill. Give him a fast shooting gun and behold - a runner that can fight for himself well. The passive bonus to science also helps with Elise's crowd control ability, so there's that.
