Unlocked it yesterday, with research only to level 1 for most stuff. You probably missed one... from memory, think there's 7, 3, 6, 6 modules in the respective categories.
No there not the only, I posted in tech support the other day. I have researched everything twice and the achievement for getting everything to lvl 4 only popped the second time and the lvl1 achievement still hasn't unlocked, I'm pretty sure the pod unlocks are glitchy because don't the all require something to have been accomplished in a "winning game" I got all the other pods except the library and refreezerator from a winning play through with the infirmary pod, and i haven't won a game with the basic pod yet but i have the infirmary unlocked.
