Dungeon of the ENDLESS™ is a Rogue-Like Dungeon-Defense hybrid game, in which your team of heroes must protect the generator of their crashed ship while finding their way out!
You can not retrofit one module to a different type a module, e.g. a Prisoner Prod 1 to a Tear Gas 1, but you can bulldoze and rebuilt.
However, as far as I recall, researching a higher tier of a module you have already build automatically upgrades all modules, e.g. Researching a Prisoner Prod 2 when you have a bunch of Prisoner Prod 1 modules should automatically upgrade all of them for free.
