Yes. A box would be very useful. I'm sure we've all ruined many runs by accidentally moving an operator out of a small room. I usually use the numbers+shift to select, but if the game had a box I would definitely use it over the numbers.
Yes, I've missed this feature for so long, so many runs I failed simply because I moved wrong hero.
Also, what I would like to ask for is.. the information window of heros to be non penetrable. Sometimes I have it open and with misclick I accidentaly use heros ability, which is hidden underneath
