Dungeon of the ENDLESS™ is a Rogue-Like Dungeon-Defense hybrid game, in which your team of heroes must protect the generator of their crashed ship while finding their way out!

I understand you wanted to minimize the micromanagement, even to the point where heroes are targeting monsters themselves. I am generally okay with their behavior, though what I hate is when I lose my modules, because the hero, who should repair them (and I have Sara for this purpose and for her speed, when transporting the crystal) is fighting instead of repairing.
My suggested solution is to have a on/off toggle for the repair skill.
(Or in case we need to be more general, let's have an on/off toggle for combat, which would cause the character to ignore enemies so they can focus on other activities instead (currently only repairing if I am not mistaken).)
There could be also some bonus to defense added, when not fighting and only defending (and repairing stuff).
