Armory pod Multiplayer Bug

I have recently been playing the Armory Pod in multiplayer. One huge, game-breaking bug I have noticed is that you cannot select four heroes at the start of the game, which has made it nearly impossible to complete the pod.

I am hoping that some patch can be put out to allow me and my companion to select four heroes before we start the armory pod.

I would greatly appreciate a patch for this, so that we can successfully complete the Armory Pod in multiplayer. Thank you for your time, and I hope you are willing to fix this.

Many thanks,

I've also been getting this bug, it is very hard if not impossible to play with the Armory Pod with the only 2 players and not being able to select the last two hero's that should be given with playing of Armory.

Hi,

Solo and multiplayer modes have different ways to start: in the first, the ship sets the number of heroes in the second, the number of players sets the number of heroes.

But don't worry: we tweaked the game difficulty based on the number of players in the first floors of spaceship like the Armory pod in multiplayer, until you get 4 heroes (which is always the case at the end of floor 4 if you open all the doors).

We will not change the global idea (it's not a bug!), but maybe the difficulty needs to be reduced a little bit more. We'll check that!

Hello, Mysterarts,

Thanks for the swift reply. I appreciate not having to wait several days to see a response.

Thank you for informing me about the tweaked difficulty in multiplayer. However, you mentioned me and my friend(s) should be able to get up to four heroes by the end of floor four-this is true in the other pods, but in the Armory pod, one of the changed criteria is that it is impossible to find other heroes behind the closed doors.

While I do not have the knowledge or experience of an awesome dev team(such as Amplitude :P), I believe that, at least in multiplayer, it should be possible to find more heroes until the player would have a full team--or, at least, allow some option to grab the max amount of heroes before the game begins.(assuming I don't want to play with a full game of four people)

Again, I do not have the coding experience to truly give a course of action, but some sort of workaround would be incredibly appreciated to allow fair multiplayer progression in the Armory Pod.

Again, thank you for your time.

It seems that in multiplayer mode you are still locked into only two characters for the Armory Pod. I was wondering if there was an update on this issue?

I know it's like digging a corpse, but I'm at the moment playing with a friend, and we are at the 5th floor, and we didn't see any another hero to recruit, and it is starting to be really difficult to continue with only 2 characters in the armory.

I think this issue is forgotten now and it would be appreciated if it was adressed despite the "oldness" of this, and of this game, which remains really cool in multiplayer (I'm still dreaming of it in splitscreen <3)

Can this be fixed soon? Very disparaging to buy this game for co-op purposes and then see that this issue has been known for over 4 years!

"It's supposed to be that way"? If that's true, it's just not a fun concept to only have one character each on 2 players. And having tried playing Armory Pod on Too Easy with only two players, it really seems like a bug and not intentional since it already gets too difficult on Floor 3.
