I was playing with a Zed player and even though I did the quest multiple times the quest would not progress. I did the quest single player afterwards and there was no issue it unlocked. I think it is only in multiplayer where this happens.

Step by step of the bug

Step 1

Playing Multiplayer with Shroom with the intention of unlocking her first quest.

Step 2

Completing Shroom Quest in Multiplayer with another player as Zed.

Step 3

In single player Shroom and Zed complete the quest and it unlocks but in multiplayer it does not.

I am having the same issue.

I also have the issue with the Janitor questline, where it requires me to acquire the note next to the ship. I have done it several times and not received credit. I was the host in a multiplayer game.

Same issue here. I play MP as host and client (as Shroom with a friend as Zed) but it never progresses.

I'm thinking it's a bug (?) which requires you to play both Shroom and Zed in a solo game.

I logged in last night and the quest had progressed but I didn't have any chip slots unlocked (I mean I bought 4 chips but can't equip them). I did the 3rd quest, to get 13 food per door, which is unlocked and now I have my first chip accessible. However, I thought the first 3 quests were all supposed to unlock them (1 each), based on the wiki. Maybe that's wrong?
