Step by step of the bug
Step 1
Start a single player game and play up to the labor colony boss and die.
Step 2
Unlocked Cartie and Leap Before You Look achievement. Purchase some Saloon and hero upgrades.
Step 3
Host a multiplayer game and invite 2 players who haven't played the game yet.
Step 4
Play as Bunker, while the 2 new players play Sweeper and Cartie.
Step 5
Enter Astral Harbor and die on Labor Colony boss.
Step 6
Achievements and Cartie do not unlock for invited players.

Just as the title says, my 2 friends joined my hosted game. It was their very first game of Endless Dungeon. They hadn't played the tutorial even. We started on Astral Harbor and died on Labor Colony fighting the boss there. They didn't unlock Hoarder nor the Leap Before You Look achievements.
Also, neither of them unlocked Cartie. Even though one of them was playing Cartie since they were in my hosted game.
We were definitely running the current version of the game as was patched yesterday.
