in combination with the weapon: Campfire - the one which creates a flame barrier around the character
When I picked up Campfire with them and put them into NPC/companion mode they do not use the weapon. It is as if they do not know how to use it due to an error with the weapon'S range and enemies' distances. They still move and try to act by using the special ability.
Equipping her default equipment - Assault Rifle - did not fix the issue, as they constantly change back the Campfire on their on when being left alone as NPC.
Only workaround so far: getting a new weapon and make Zed drop Campfire.
Desired result: even if the NPC cannot use Campfire, it was to be expected that they change at least to their default weapon which they did not. Making them in the bugged state an issue for the run. Unless Campfire can be used correctly by the NPC they should always opt out to their alternative weapon.
