I've uninstalled and reinstalled and the error persists.
I clicked on "Go to saloon" It has been 15 minutes and I'm still stuck on 'establishing session'
I clicked on "options -> restart tutorial" and it hung at the same spot as well.

i could not do that because there was no option to delete cloud saves when right klicking the game in steam

Another report on reddit:
I bought this game on PS5 to play with my friends and got stuck on 50% while trying to establish connection.
So I restarted the game, deleted the game, reinstalled the game but nope still it tries to establish connection.
Changed my network settings. Big NO
I even tried a factory reset of my PS5 but as you see in the picture nothing.
Nothing works. Why? Please give one explanation, one maybe to justify the money I paid…

Bought it with one profile and tried it… just freeze after pressing “press any button” loading screen at 50%, tried another profile same issue, reinstalling now. I have background downloading running, I’m from Georgia so the connection condition may suffer. I saw someone reported that if you disconnect ps5 from the internet the game loads but I didn’t check . So the guess is that this is something with sustaining connection between console and your server during load
