I admit I have a bad habit of wanting Horatio in everything but I think there's some real potential here. 

We know that in the time of Dungeon of the Endless, pre-clone Horatio is exploring the galaxy searching for a way to make his dream a reality. If this game takes place around that time, I would love Horatio being included in some manner, ideally as a playable character. This would put an excellent flavor of lore, sense of continuity, and excellent meme fodder. Give our beautiful boy with his leather jacket a chance to shine!

If there's no desire to make him playable, I would love him as some sort of merchant- perhaps trading rare Endless technology for baubles or information?
