When can we expect to start seeing some more information on the game?

Even if FlyByNo isn't going to be involved with EL2 (which would be heartbreaking), I can't imagine anyone would decry a thread appreciating him and his work. 

Do not fret, Arnaud Roy (FlyByNo) was a guest on the recent Amplified stream and even played a short concert, featuring three tracks from Endless Legend 2.

Any news guys. I'm checking for any updates daily and so far nothing. Youtube also seems pretty dry in terms of content. I'm surprised that no has even done any video analyzing the trailer or something. It's all just trailer being posted everywhere. No ideas, no concerns no nothing. Is the community dead or something??

Sorry, it's taking a bit of extra time than what we expected (for several reasons I cannot share haha)

No news means: "oops, it doesn't work so well as expected, we need time to fix it or do it better".

So, the word says "no news" is mostly bad, but not in video-games.

 I think it's rather good and hope the amazing team of Amplitude will make a good game before to do a release.

I was also starting to wonder if I had missed something regarding the second testers'wave. I can't wait to start analyzing the game and to give some feedback.

Thanks for the various answers and for showing that the community is alive, albeit a little quiet !

For those like me who are not part of the beta testing, it feels like nothing has been up since the first reveal trailer. Maybe the testers could give some general feelings on what they've seen so far to keep the interest of the rest ?

They can't share any information about the game because they are under NDA (Non Disclosure Agreement). So don't get your hopes up that some tester will come and share any info about anything from the test.

• Soon we will start the 3rd wave of players trying and sharing feedback to the team!
• Yesterday we started with the first blog, the Kin of Sheredyn and we expect to have regular blogs to present new things about the game.

Are you interested in a particular subject?

Endless Legend 2-Kin of Sheredyn Faction Spotlight just dropped. I recommend looking at that and I subscribe to their Endless Universe channel on youtube which they always update trailers or even a DEV blog type of series. The Kin of Sheredyn spotlight really reveals what the game is going to look like and really what caught my eye is the unique animations and if you have played Halo Wars they have a similar concept of using their faction ability to do an AOE attack on the map which just looks so sweet. As well as just looking at the cities compared to the first Endless Legend everything just looks more cleaned up and not as bunched up together (more eye candy). If you're just as hyped as I am every announcement they make just gets me more excited and I know the Devs are trying to get every detail right. I also recommend following the game on steam and getting notifications. Hopefully this helped or just made you a little more excited about Endless Legend 2.

I've been dying for details, but don't feel like I should read the blog or watch the video. Most players on release day won't be studying factions etc beforehand, so I really want to go into the beta test cold, to give unbiased feedback from the completely new player perspective.

Can you give more of an idea than "soon", when we'll get the chance? (My Feb 13 congratulations letter said "you will be joining for mid/late march". Is March still in the cards?)

Hey ! Thanks for the reply and the news. 

I have no specific question apart from the obvious that I know can't yet be communicated (release date, etc...). The forum has been quiet for a few weeks but since my message you released the Kin of Sheredyn which is great. 

Are you planning to involve the community in some decision making votes like you did with previous games ? Unfortunatly I don't have time to be part of the beta testing but still love to be able to somehow get involved in the development of this game. 

Also totaly out of curiosity : When Amplitude Studios was part of SEGA, has there been any long-term plans to develop a Total War based on Endless Universe ?
