Generation Presets
Do you want to see the world?
Eye on the Stars will introduce generation presets: different exotic continent layouts and starting positions to spice up your games. Also note that you will be able to mod your own!
New World
- Auriga has two continents
- All players start on the same continent (picture above) which contains specific Strategic and Luxury resources
- The other continent can potentially offer additional resources
Scattered
- Each player starts alone on an island
- There are no resources on the starting island
- The new continent can potentially offer resources
Symmetrical
- There are two continents; they are identical in shape, geography and resources
- The starting points on the map are identical for empires of the same faction who are paired on the same line in the Opponents Panel (1 and 2, 3 and 4, and so on)
AI & SIM Debugger
This tool especially dedicated to our modders gives a powerful look at the simulation of the game world.
The simulation is some kind of a big data sheet with a lot of game elements which will be easier to identify. It is the perfect way to understand the correct path to check a property for instance, or to look at all the descriptors attached to a specific unit.
You will have to enter a special command in order to launch the SIM debugger: "--enablemoddingtools" in the launch options of Steam for Endless Legend (right click, "Properties", "General" tab, "Set Launch Options" button).
Please note however that in order to limit various problems, achievements and multiplayer mode will not be available.
