Hi folks! I'm wondering if anyone has been able to nab this achievement. In my current game, I control an oceanic region that borders 5 of my land regions. I originally got the oceanic region first before I completed all 5 of the land regions, but since someone suggested trying the reverse, I gave away one of the fortresses and retook it. No dice.

Any tips on how to get it?

I did it.

Do it at the start of the game. Get 4 regions around an ocean, then capture ocean. 

It probably has some hidden condition that ocean is captured for the first time or something like that.


I tried the way you described and had the same result, re-capturing did not trigger the achievement, but capturing it for the first time worked.
