Hello I wanted to create custom Necrophage faction with Mattery Arcane (pillar for science) but he is missing. So i checked and only Arden Mage can have him or is it set like this purposely?

The technology "Arcana of matter" is a starting tech.  So you can find it in the starting tech category.
