How to help us to fix a bug?




If you encounter an issue that you cannot solve using the Troubleshooting thread, please create a new thread in this section and send us a Dropbox link (or equivalent) or zip and attach your files to your post (how to) with:




  • Issue - Describe your issue: it's simple and it helps us understanding what you want us to fix (error message etc.)
  • Platform - Which distribution platform did you buy the game from: Steam, Microsoft Game Pass, Origin, etc. Put this in [brackets] at the front of your thread title as well, please.
  • Specs - Share your specs with us! Your OS, screen resolution, etc.
  • Version - What is the game version? You can find this out in the game menu, at the bottom left of the screen
  • Game save - You can find it here:

    • [PC] [Documentsdir]/Endless Legend/Save Files/*.zip
    • [MAC] ~/library/application support/endless legend/savefiles


  • IMPORTANT: in order to be able to identify the root cause of the issue, we need the game save of the turn where the issue appears, or better yet, the one just before that! This allows us to reproduce and identify the issue much more easily.

  • Do not forget to convert this document in .zip.
  • Registry.xml - [Documentsdir]/Endless Legend/Users/[SteamID]/Registry.xml
  • Screenshots - By default on Steam, you need to press F12 to take a screenshot. Once you exit the game, you will find the screenshot manager window, press on "Show on disk" and grab the pictures you find relevant
  • Typos - Here!
  • Multiplayer - If you want to report an issue that occurred in the MP mode, pease zip your Dump files located in this folder: My Documents/Endless Legend/Dump Files/DesyncReport.xxx.aaaaaaaa-bbbb-cccc-dddd-eeeeeeeeeeee and attach them to your bug report if you are experiencing desync issues. If your friends could do so too, it would help us compare the files.









We will also ask you to redeem your Steam CD keys: this way, we'll be sure you are playing an up to date version of the game on Steam (and sadly not a pirated version that is still buggy... :/).
