This new achievement is basically impossible.

The Urkins do basically 100 fortification damage per turn with Earthquake and this achievement is asking to complete 1,000,000 damage with that skill.

So it's asking for 10,000 turns worth of earthquake.  Assuming you get all 3 urkins out causing earthquakes that's still 3,333 turns of sieging; and you can't even try this until basically the end of the game. To top it off sieging is generally a waste of time.

As someone who's gotten every other achievement in this game I hope this gets changed becuase right now this achievement is impossible and I'm assuming there are 2 too many zeros because 10,000 would still be a tall order, but at least not impossible.

It seems to count more than the basic city damage (I racked up a few thousands in a single game with a LOT of gratuitous sieges) but it's still an absurdly high amount, especially since a lot of games end before you can get control of the 3 Urkans in the first place. So even if it took e.g. 200 games that's a ton of time if you consider that you unlock the Tremors ability itself maybe a third of the time or less, and you get no progress towards the achievement before the very end of the game. And continuing games after they're over just to grind down an achievement is extremely boring.

I think it also counts damage to the units in the city if you take away all the fortifications, but yes this achievement will take way too long.

While you're looking into it you will probably want to take a look at 'The Exterminator.' Most games I get to kill at best a few donzen lice and this achievement is asking me to kill 1,000 lice. That is an insane amount of lice and will probably take 15-20 games to be able to complete.

This one is just way too grindy.

I'm sitting at about 21,000 / 1,000,000 for shake your foundations and 230/1000 for Exterminator.

I hope both these get changed.

Killing the lice isn't hard, finding the lice to kill is. The Urkins just don't produce them fast enough and to get this you have to kill a lot of lice. The most I've been able to find and kill quickly is about 20. Even if I had that save file, I'd have to reload it an absurd amount of times to make it work.

Thanks for the guide. At least I know I will be able to get this achievement if they don't fix it.

So... did you ever hear back about this? Symbiosis achievements honestly have a terrible design and leave a sour note to this game. Well that and all the design issues of the DLC itself I guess, but having stupidly grindy achievements certainly doesn't help.
