When the game freezes at the end of Turn 1, I count it as unplayable.

This game freezes all the time: Turn 14; Turn 75. Turn 200; Turn whatever...

And now... Turn 1.

If you have trouble using the file upload of GAmes2Gether, you can also put the files on any filehosting service and share the link.

Since I can't afford a file hosting service, that's not a solution. Could you give me 1) a link to your explanation on how to upload a zip file.

2) a description of where to find saved files for endless legend on the mac. I can't find the folder described.

As described in the post I linked you to, you can find the required files here:

  • Game save - You can find it here:

    • [PC] [Documentsdir]/Endless Legend/Save Files/*.zip
    • [MAC] ~/library/application support/endless legend/savefiles

  • IMPORTANT: in order to be able to identify the root cause of the issue, we need the game save of the turn where the issue appears, or better yet, the one just before that! This allows us to reproduce and identify the issue much more easily.

  • Output_log.txt

    • [PC] [Steaminstalldir]/Steamapps/Common/Endless Legend/EndlessLegend_Data/output_log.txt
    • [MAC] via the OSX Console - /Library/Logs/Unity/Player.log
  • Diagnostics.html -

    • [PC] [Documentsdir]/Endless Legend/Temporary Files/Diagnostics*.html
    • [MAC] Diagnostics.*.html - Library/Application Support/EndlessLegend/Temporary Files/

You can find the upload file option in the top part of the editor. The symbol is a dog-eared page, right between the camera for video embedding and the button for tables.

If the files turn out to be too big, I still recommend using a filehost. There are many free filehosting options, e.g. Google Drive.

Thanks. These days many files are hidden when viewed in the Finder, which I forgot (its 4AM here and I am 60+ years old — 'nuff said)

This page discusses how to show "hidden" files via the Finder:

Debugstuff.zip

Running a mac mini 2018 using a 4K TV as the monitor. Game is in windowed mode instead of full screen.

I was using a save file that I'd restarted from several times before the freeze on turn 1.

Thank you. Unfortunately I'm not familiar with Mac myself, so I may need to talk to some other people before I can get back to you.
