Hi

I really enjoyed playing Endless Legends.  I played Master of Magic and Master of Orion back in the day, sometimes still do and this is easily the best game since the Master Series.  I also really enjoy Total War which is also part of the Sega Corporation.

Ok, bug report: there are plenty of quests that have trouble loading depending on the map features.  I am sure you have figured most of that out and generally it's not a problem for me in 9 out of 10 games.

My biggest issue with Endless Legends is really small, consistently glitched and easy to fix.  Accessory item upgrades do not show up in the store unless you unequip the lower level variety from the character or troop schematic.  In my first play throughs I was gimped because I hadn't figured out a work around yet, and assumed either the game was severely glitched or I wasn't playing it right.  Please fix this.  It made me feel really bad on my first play throughs and will definitely effect most new player experiences.

As far as design goes, I would have preferred the game was more clear that the items found were not available for use, and represented schematics for whatever loreful reason such as cracks, broken pieces, needing to be imbued, battery low, etc.  This was another unnecessary point of confusion for me that I quickly recovered from.

Otherwise, it's a great game.  I have played the Wild Walkers, Vaulters and Ardent Mages.  I have enjoyed the distinct touch and feel of each race.  Wish there was a little more story at the end of the journey to wrap things up.  Also, the warnings from the game telling you that so and so is about to beat you can feel a bit exasperating.  Maybe I am just playing on too high a difficulty.  If you ever get around to doing end game cinematics that would be fantastic, but I would be fine reading a narrative if budget is not available.  I am sure you could make them generic enough that they could fit for every race by showing shared victories or in the case of conquest generic troops.  I assume when I built the wonder I saved the planet, but the narrative really fails to deliver on this.  None of this is real, but dumping the player and lacking credits or fan fare feels off.

For instance, in MoO2 each victory condition is mated with a short narration and some cool generic victory cinema.  It's a really nice touch and not having it makes the game feel cheaper despite how it's clearly not a cheap product.  As a Total War fan I have definitely experienced this lack of victory presentation with CA's products too.  Their games are really hit or miss in this aspect.  The most recent game TROY has a nice victory art cinema that probably didn't break the bank.  It doesn't have to be a massive ordeal, just give it some thought and like I said, a short narrative is fine if you don't have funding for cinematics.  Maybe, it's just something that I grew up with that the industry isn't supporting any more.

I hope there will continue to be new content for this game and genre.  Thanks for reading.
