Game crash, computer reboot

(sorry for my bad english)

Nearly every time I play EL, the game stop (blackscreen for 1/2 second) and then my computer reboot. Sometime I can play for 15 minutes, sometime 2 hours before this.

My computer :
I3 3220
Radeon 5850
8go ram
Windows 7 64 bits

I already tried the 32bits thing in steam, no change.
The computer doesn't seems to overheat, and I don't have those issues in other games.

Hey Zayin,

If your computer goes as far as rebooting, signs would point to a possible hardware issue (GPU or RAM). I would recommend updating your drivers for a start if they aren't the latest version.

AMD's website gave me this when I searched for your config:

If your computer crashed, you should see something in the event log. If not, then there.s a checkbox on the Startup and Recovery page which allows such events to be logged.

Do you also get a crash dump or minidump ?

No crash dump or mini dump. Blackscreen for 1 sec, then reboot.

I really don't want to annoy you with this question, but here it goes : are you *REALLY* sure that your CPU / GPU / PSU are not overheating ?

Could you try performing a MemTest : http://www.memtest86.com/ or http://www.memtest.org/

The way you described your issue and the absence of any kind of event log entry / dump file makes be believe that something is not perfect w/ the hardware ... I might be wrong though ^^
