Unable to finish combat

My Broken Lords cavalry unit (Ryder) fought against Assassins. Enemy Assassin had 2 points of life and when it got initiative to attack, it died because of my unit's life drain ability (prior to executing its own attack). Battle got stuck after the enemy unit died.

Save game: g3-2.zip
Steps to reproduce: deploy the unit 1 hex down&left-wards so that asassins don't reach it, set to hold position, make it move to the area as shown in picture below and fight.
Version: Endless Legend Shifters (with all DLCs) v1.4.4 S3 (32-bit)

After launching phase 4/6 the unit dies and the battle is stuck:

It seems that the Life Drain battle action was set to activate both on attack and on counter. This is not actually consistent with our intended design or with the tooltip which states that the ability is applied on attack. We've fixed the issue by making the ability apply only when the unit attacks. Thanks for the report! :)
