I have tried numerous things and I will list below not only the things I tried, but the latest log files.


Running as administrator

Going into the 32 bit beta

Windows 7 compatibility (I'm using windows 10 though)

Setting a steam launch option with each of the following: -userembedded  & -useembedded & -force-d3d11 (this one got me to the pink screen intro/menu)

Uninstalling/Reinstalling Steam, Endless Legend etc.

Removing local saved files for endless legend

Checking integrity of files through steam

Checking that my graphics card is being used and not the onboard

Changing time zone and turning off auto daylight savings time

crash.dmp

error.log

output_log.txt

DxDiag.txt

Could you also add a DXDiag so we know what machine you're trying to run the game on, and what kind of heat it is packing? Thanks!

Seems to be a tough one... You seem to be playing on an external monitor from a laptop. Can you unplug this monitor and send us another output log once you've tried starting the game? Thanks!

I unplugged both external monitors and also included a screenshot of what the black screen looks like.  Same as before.

The error is: nvd3dumx.dll caused an Access Violation

which points to the nVIDIA drivers.

This error is not that infrequent, other games mention it too...


Could you please make sure that you're running the latest version?
