Hi guys:

I just downloaded this game today with DlCs. I have trouble starting new game since it says:

...The world generation has failed (The world generator process has encountered an error: [WorldGenerator][Exception]The world generator has encountered an exception:[InnerException] System.unauthorizedAccessException:C:\Users\Administrator\Documents\Endless Legend\Temporary Files\WorldGeneratorOutput.zip System.IO._Error.WinIOError(Int32 errorCode, String maybeFullPath)

System.IO.FileStream.Inlt(String path, FileMode mode, FileAccess access, Int32 rights, boolean use Rights, FileShare share.......

any idea how can i fix it up? detailed steps or possible link are appreciated !

Try Running the program as an administrator, Thats what looks to be the issue.

I have recently got a new pc and had to reinstall Endless Legend, I don't own the Shifters or Tempest DLC in the game. But when i did load the game i got this message. DxDiag.txt is the info for my pc. 

I would really love to get playing on Endless Legend. Just as an FYI: I bought and run through Steam, I have run Verifying Data Cache checks with it, and Unistalled and Reinstalled all data. and then verified it again.

'Your not the only one encountering this error. I've tried running the program as administrator and running Steam as Administrator too. Any other solutions?

Try Deleting the folder "C://Users/Peter/Documents/Endless Legend/Temporary Files"

Do you have an anti-virus? Is Endless Legend Whitelisted with it? Try temporarily disabling it if the issue continues.

You can also try:

- Add the command line option “-useembedded” (Properties on “Endless Legend” in Steam client library, and “Launch Options”) and launch a new game (don’t load Tutorial)

OR

- Add the command line option “-useshellexecute” (Properties on “Endless Legend” in Steam client library, and “Launch Options”) and launch a new game (don’t load Tutorial).
