Hi,

I am having a simple issue here but I have no idea how to solve it...

I have no more sound in Endless Ledgend (and in Endless Space, but it works in Endless Space 2 for the record) . But the videos play normally (with sound)...

I haven't changed mother board or any other device recently, it seems, though I cannot be sure, it happened on the 1st of December after I updated my Nvidia Drivers (which include an HD audio driver).

This error also happened in iTunes which suddenly could not read music files until I switched "Read audio files using" from "Windows Audio Session" to "Direct Sound". It is also affecting some other games but not all of them...

My motherboard is an Asus Strix Z370-E Gaming which includes a Realtek Audio Card, nothing very original there...

I checked in the game folder, there was no diagnosis file generated.

I tried reinstalling the audio driver but to no avail...

Let me know what you need me to provide to solve this issue.

Hello,

just recently another player has had a similar issue. They were using an audio driver called Nahimic, and solved the issue by switching to a different driver.

I am unfortunately not familiar with audio issues in EL (or in general), so I can not provide more help right now.
