Way back in Dec 2015, a patch [1.3.5] was issued for EL that reduced depth of field quality for all post processing quality levels. This was to fix performance issues for some users with AMD graphics cards. Unfortunately, this reduced image quality for all users, and a more specific solution was never issued.


Would it be possible to address this? The game really misses that beautiful, smooth bokeh effect that had been available as an option since release, and caused no substantial performance degredation for many players. Perhaps another quality option beyond "beautiful" ? Or expose # of DoF passes in the options menu.


Alternatively, since this is a Unity project, modding is an option, but we'd need a little help to determine the original variables and their values.
