Hey there, I recently got Endless Legend from Xbox Game pass but upon launching the game all I see is a black screen.

To clarify, I can hear game sounds (at least during the opening cinematic and menus) but can't actually see anything, just a black screen. Due to having acquired the game from xbox store, i can't actually access any of the game files except the documents folder.

Game is installed on my OS drive and Nvidia drivers are updated

Troubleshooting that didnt work: re-installing the game, re-installing vcredist, and changing the resolution in the config file.

16gb
980ti

i7 4790k

Solved.

1. Change your display resolution to 1280x720

2. Launch the game - it should boot up normally without any issues

3. Change your display resolution back to what you want. You might have to close and open up the game again if you want fullscreen.
4. From now on the game should launch normally.
