Ive tried to close alll backgroud apps to see if it was that, but no matter what i try it crashes 5-8 seconds after it launches. It gets to the title then imediatly crashes.

Can you post your error log if you have one? It would be in your game install folder in a folder with a date for a name. You game is usually installed for Windows to:

C:/Program Files (x86)/Steam/steamapps/common/Endless Legend/
I'm not sure where it is for Microsoft Store, but it should in the equivalent location in the install folder.
