Playing through Xbox Game Pass, the game crashes on what I assume is the end of the tutorial (the tutorial advisor/AI tells me to end my turn to complete the tutorial). After ending my turn on two sepearte play throughs the game just crashes. The achivement didn't unlock either time.

Can you post your error log if you have one? It would be in your game install folder in a folder with a date for a name. You game is usually installed for Steam to:

C:/Program Files (x86)/Steam/steamapps/common/Endless Legend/

I don't know where Xbox Game Pass puts it.

That file doesn't have any helpful information in it. The end of the file says:

I don't see any problem there. A similar problem just came up for a user on Endless Space 2, which you can see here. ES2 and EL run on the same engine so computer updates that break one tend to break the other. It's possible your issue is related. You can attempt the advice that I posted in that thread, namely updating Windows.

If you can find an error file named "output_log.txt" that might be helpful. It is usually in a folder with a date for a name. That sometimes has better diagnostic information.

Hi,

Windows tells me I'm up to date. I've attached more screen shots. There doesn't seem to be an error folder. I also get an error when I try to save during the tutorial (see attached), but it doesn't make me quit out of the game like the end of the tutorial message does.

Thanks for looking into this!

Hi,

This is still an issue and I've tried some of the other things you mentioned in the other post, buy everything is showing up to date and I've even tried unistnalling and reinstalling with no luck.

Thanks.

Hi,

I've just experienced exactly the same error on Game Pass, with this game.
Did you get any further with the issue?

The same issue happened to me as well today while trying the game through Xbox game pass for PC. I also couldn't save during the tutorial. These are the error messages given by the game after the crash:
