Hey!

I have been having a hard time playing multiplayer. When I host  (haven't tested otherwise), I get a graphical anomaly where individual graphics will show a bunch of garble and then shortly after the game will crash. No error, game closes, no evidence I was playing it all. Game settings on Good. Playing on Windows, Graphics card: Nvidia GTX 1070 / 16 gb ram. It never used to do this when I played a couple years ago, but I can't seem to keep a game going for long. Feels like the longer we play, more turns in, the worse it gets. Graphic drivers are fully updated. Is it a memory leak of some kind? Doesn't happen to my partner who is running Linux with same exact computer.

Any ideas what's happening here? Uploaded a screenshot of what it looks like before the crash. endless_screenshot.png

Thanks!!

That looks like an issue with your GPU, my guess is a video memory leak/error. If you know of any, run some diagnostics programs on your GPU's memory. This is the most helpful I can be, sorry!

Thanks, I have no idea what program to download for that. Got any suggestions? I play a lot of high end games and I get zero crashes or graphical issues on anything else. It's just this game that does it - and all I can say it never used to do it early on. Wish I could pinpoint which update changed this for me. If there is something I can do to help troubleshoot it? Any recommendations or log files that I can provide or am I just not going to be able to play this game anymore?

Thanks!

That looks like texture corruption.

First and foremost, make sure that your GPU and its memory aren't running too hot. You can find tools to find out what your temps are.

Secondly, try updating your graphics drivers (do a clean install, if prompted to do so).

Third, try uninstalling the game from Steam and re-installing it.
