I have been playing on Steam since the day you released the earliest version. No Issues at all playing.



This patch ... all saves... all new games ... hit start and it generates the world then dumps me directly back to the main game menu.



Verified all files. Nvidia drivers up to date.



Found some new information.



21:13:20:701STACKAn error has occurred while loading the new technique. The WorldGenerator.exe currently used is not up to date and produces deprecated data. Unistalled game. Reinstalled. Renamed the Mydocuments/whatever to AOldLegends.



Now it gives me this when I try to create the game.

System Specs,



Twin NVidia 680's 340 driver, 2Gigs Video and 8Gigs Ram, Win 7 64bit plenty of rig to run this game. I have mega hours on this game up to now. I will go play Divinity Original Sin until you get this fixed. was hoping to play the newest build.

I am guessing most people can still play the game. Since my gaming rig plays everything else I am thinking, since I have played this game on steam since the first release, something in a registry setting didn't set right with the new patch and it is something simple like that. If were Nvidia cards or steam there would be more then just my issue. I am still thinking registry since I uninstalled and reinstalled with no luck. Although it did allow me to copy and paste the error after reinstalling, whereas before it would just crash to the main menu.

Hey Try this, your issue doesn't sound exactly he same as mine but hey ho.



1) Open 'Steam'

2) Right Click 'Endless Legends'

3) Choose 'Properties'

4) Go to 'Local Files'

5) Choose 'Browse to Local Files'

6) Right Click 'EndlessLegend.exe'

7) Go to 'Properties'

8) Go to 'Compatibility' Tab.

9) Tick 'Run this Game As An Administrator'

10) Launch Game through steam.



This fixed it for me.

That actually worked. Even works with the desktop Icon now that I changed the permission level of the exe. Thank you so much.
